SC Cambuur: Hold last straw ( Recent Form: D L L D W )

SC Cambuur is currently in a difficult position. The thirteenth place in the Kitchen Champion Division is seriously below par. Trainer René Hake will leave at the end of the season, which seems to clear the way for a return by Henk de Jong, who is currently working on his final months at De Graafschap. Last weekend there had to be won a visit to a battered RKC and so did the Leeuwarders. Robin Maulun gave his team the lead within ten minutes and it was Sam Hendriks who threw the game into the slot just in time. Goalkeeper Xavier Mous was the celebrated man with no fewer than seven crucial saves. In a defeat, Cambuur had lost connection with the other teams competing for participation in the play-offs, but this was prevented. A new tough job awaits Friday night. The Hake team has to win a home game for the first time since 2 November. At that time, Jong Ajax won 2-1. The recent win on a visit to RKC was called after the team had already won six games without a win. It remains to be seen whether Cambuur can also give this a good follow-up.

Jong PSV Eindhoven (Youth): Hard to beat ( Recent Form: W L D W W )

In the last few months, FC Twente firmly seized power in the Kitchen Champion Division, but behind the unapproachable Tukkers it is extremely exciting. Young PSV is currently in fifth place, but it is only three points behind Go Ahead Eagles, which is second. After the winter break, only FC Twente lost. For their own audience, the Eindhoven team went down 2-0 against the leader. For the last defeat for this we have to go back to 12 December Calculated SC Cambuur was then too strong for the PSV team. Young PSV started the season a little hit and miss, but since November 9 there have only been two losses. Low flyers Helmond Sport and Jong FC Utrecht were put aside in the past two weeks. With 63 goals, the Eindhoven players are the most productive team in the Kitchen Champion Division, but they also get quite a few goals against. It remains to be seen which players of the A-selection trainer Dennis Haar will have available on Friday evening. The fact is that even without these reinforcements the team of promises is overflowing with talent.

THE BETTING VERDICT:

After all, goalkeeper Mous excelled on behalf of Cambuur last weekend and he will have to play again on Friday evening against an easily scoring Young PSV. The team has some air again after the recent victory, but has been waiting for almost four months for the last home win. I expect a fairly open game, especially if the Eindhoven team first goal, because then Cambuur will have to come. The odds for a win are far too high in my opinion. Both the double chance and an away win are, in my opinion, perfectly playable.
