Rostov defender Maciej Wilusz remains out with a cruciate ligament injury, while winter signing Mathias Normann is suspended.

Lokomotiv Moscow have Dmitri Tarasov back in action after he claimed his first minutes since October at the weekend. Other than Aleksandr Kolomeytsev still recovering from his knee injury and Boris Rotenberg suffering from a cruciate ligament complaint, the side have a full squad.

Suspended: Mathias Normann

Doubtful: None

Injured/Unavailable: Maciej Wilusz (cruciate ligament)

Rostov lost valuable ground in the battle for sixth at the weekend by losing heavily to direct rivals FC Orenburg 3-0 away in league action. However, they are unbeaten in their last six home league games, having won three, although in that run they have also drawn three. They haven’t conceded more than one goal at home in the league this season though, and have kept seven clean sheets on their own turf.

Lokomotiv Moscow were held to a hard-fought 1-1 league draw at home to CSKA Moscow at the weekend. Now that they have almost all their key senior players back fit they will look to extend their eight-match unbeaten run of five wins and three draws in league action. However, while they have won their last three away league games, all have come against bottom-half teams.

Expect Rostov to take a point.

Rostov have been level going into the break in four of their last five home league games. In fact, they have conceded just two first-half goals in their last ten home league matches. Meanwhile, only three sides have conceded fewer first-half goals away from home in the league than Lokomotiv Moscow. Expect a draw at half time.

There have only been six total goals in the last five league encounters, with Lokomotiv Moscow winning three, drawing one and losing one.
