QPR have had a very strange season up until now. Despite losing their first four league games of the season, Rangers moved to within two points of the playoffs with a 3-0 win over Ipswich over Christmas. However, Steve McClaren’s men go into this one having lost eight, drawn one and won only one of their last ten league matches after holding Stoke to a goalless draw at home last time out. The Londoners are now just ten points above the bottom three.

Sitting in 22nd place, Rotherham still have plenty of work to do in the race for survival although they are only one point from safety. Paul Warne’s men, who have been punching above their weight in England’s second tier this season, have yet to win away from home in the league this term, losing 11 and drawing seven league matches on their travels up until now. United lost 2-0 at Sheff Utd in their most recent league outing and they will be desperate for three points on the road in midweek.

This is massive league game for both teams, with the pressure really on the pair. With that in mind, I’m predicting this to end in a draw at Loftus Road.

Rotherham have scored just 11 away league goals all season while QPR have managed just 26 on their own patch. I can’t foresee many total goals in this one.

It finished in an entertaining 2-2 draw when the teams went head to head at the New York Stadium in the league earlier in the season. Rotherham have won just one of their last seven league meetings with QPR, losing four and drawing two.
