Poland: Final test for World Cup ( Recent Form: D L L W D )

Poland secured the ticket for the World Cup in Russia in qualifying group E. There they met Denmark, Montenegro, Romania, Armenia and Kazakhstan. With 25 points, national coach Adam Nawalka's men finished first with a five-point lead over Denmark. In ten games the White-Red scored 28 times and conceded 14 goals. The 14 goals were the highest value of all UEFA teams that qualified for the World Cup. Except for the away game in Denmark, which lost the Poles 4-0, and a draw in Kazakhstan, the Poles could win all games in qualifying for themselves. At the World Cup, the Poles in Group H meet Senegal, Colombia and Japan. This group is probably the most balanced of the World Cup. Everyone can beat everyone here. The focus of the national team, of course, is Robert Lewandowski. The Bayern striker was with 16 goals top scorer in the World Cup qualifiers. But the Poles are also very dependent on their star. Since the European Championship in 2016, Poland has not won in all games where Lewandowski scored no goals. The Poles survived the European Championship unbeaten, but lost in the last eight on penalties against the eventual champions Portugal. Kamil Glik, as the defensive boss, was injured shortly before the World Cup.

Lithuania: Many boring games ( Recent Form: L W L D L )

Lithuania played in Group F in 2018 World Cup qualification. The team of national coach Edgaras Jankauskas had to settle behind England, Slovakia, Scotland and Slovenia in the end with the fifth and thus penultimate place in the group. In ten games, there was only one victory - at home 2-0 against Malta. There were also three draws and six defeats. The goal difference was at 7:20 goals. So far, Lithuania has not participated in any finals, neither a World Cup nor European Championship. Among the greatest successes of the football nation include draw against the then Vice World Champion Germany (2003) and the then world champion Italy (2006). Of the last 13 international matches, the Balts could win only one, 1-0 in Armenia. Ten games in this period were lost. There were also two draws against Malta and Lithuania. In the Nations League starting in September, Lithuania will face Romania, Serbia and Montenegro. Last Friday, the men of Coach Jankauskas lost 1-0 against World Cup participants Iran. The winner for the Iranians fell in the 88th minute. Lithuania have been without their own goals nine times in the last 13 games. In the other four games, there was only one goal each for the Baltic.

After all, Poland are very strong against Lithuania if they go out with the best squad in this match. Many numbers show that the possibility of Poland winning the gap is very easy to happen. However, Poland is currently trying to keep fit for the group stage and it is hard to break the battle. Therefore, the possibility of winning by two goals difference or more is difficult to appear.
