Orlando City currently reports Cristian Higuita as injured with Joao Braganca Moutinho as questionable.

The Columbus Crew will be missing Milton Valenzuela for the season while Federico Higuain and David Accam are also injured. The Crew signed Curacao international goalkeeper Eloy Room from PSV Eindhoven in Holland and also inked winger Luis Diaz from Herediano in Costa Rica. In addition, forward Romario Williams was bought from Atlanta Utd.

Orlando City rebounded from a 3-1 home league loss to the Philadelphia Union in midweek to earn a 2-2 draw on the Union's own turf in league action last weekend. This continues Orlando's trend of playing better football on the road than at home. The visitors trailed after four minutes but goals from Dom Dwyer and Santiago Patino in the 67th and 81st minutes helped them to take the lead. The three points slipped through their fingers though as the Union equalized in the 90th minute. Orlando now has three wins, a draw and six defeats in their past ten league fixtures. They have 22 of a possible 57 league points this year and are currently out of the playoff picture in the East, but not by much as they are trailing seventh placed Toronto FC by only one point.

The Columbus Crew scored first at home against the Seattle Sounders in the league last weekend but then made the mistake of sitting on their lead. They eventually paid for it with a 2-1 league loss. The Crew struck first in the 13th minute via a Pedro Santos penalty kick but their opponents scored in the 56th and 96th minutes to break their fans' hearts. It was the fourth straight league loss for Columbus but they at least managed to score a goal after being shut out in their three previous league outings. The Crew has just one victory in their past 14 league games with 12 losses and a draw and their 17 league points leaves them in second last place in the East with the playoffs being highly unlikely.

Orlando City beat the Columbus Crew on the road in the league last month and with the Crew having only one league away win this year I expect another victory for the hosts.

With just one goal scored in their past four league games I think the odds of the Columbus Crew scoring first are quite low. I expect Orlando City to strike first.

Orlando City won 2-0 in Columbus in the league in late June while each team won their home league fixture last season.
