MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: DRAW

After four straight league wins, Odd BK suffered a 2-0 defeat away from home at the hands of Sarpsborg in league action. Jorgen Larsen scored a goal in each half to ensure all three points for the hosts. It was a day to forget for the Grenland club, who slipped to just a second away loss of the season. Odd BK have won all of their five home league matches this season and remain in a respectable second place in the table, three points behind leaders Molde.

Haugesund drew 1-1 at home to Brann in their last league outing. After falling behind to a Vito Wormgoor strike, the hosts came out in the second half full of enthusiasm. One of those energised figures was Sondre Tronstad who scored a powerful long-range effort to level matters. It was Tronstad’s first goal on the season and couldn’t have come at a better time. The home team were unlucky not to win the league game, missing a number of good second-half chances. Haugesund are now unbeaten in their last five league matches, a run that has seen them win two and draw three times.

Haugesund’s good form coupled with Odd BK’s solid home record could well see this one end up as draw.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO - LOW

In three of the last four league meetings between these teams there have been two total goals or fewer. For this reason I will predict another low-scoring league match here.

HEAD TO HEAD

Both teams have won two of their last four league encounters.
