Norwich City: In trouble ( Recent Form: L D D W L )

Norwich City seems to be the big favorite to relegate to the Championship at the end of this season. Under Daniel Farke, Norwich City does not even play so badly in the Premier League, but to survive in the Premier League as a small club you do not always have to play well. You have to grab points and this season it is missing at Norwich City, which only 22 points in 22 games. The gap with Bournemouth is already six points ahead of Norwich City, which is already eight points behind in the safe seventeenth place. After scoring points in-house against Tottenham Hotspur (2-2) and Crystal Palace (1-1), Norwich City lost 4-0 last weekend at Manchester United. A hefty defeat for Norwich City, which lost three of the last four away games in the Premier League. For the final home victory of Norwich City in that Premier League, we have to go far back in time: on September 14, The Canaries won 3-2 from Manchester City and since then Norwich City has been unable to win a home game. Farke had to do without top scorer Teemu Pukki in the last two games, but the Finnish attacker returns to Norwich City against Bournemouth.

AFC Bournemouth: Howe under pressure ( Recent Form: D L L W L )

Bournemouth's lead over Norwich City is six points, but that does not mean that The Cherries will get it easy on Carrow Road. Eddie Howe has been under pressure in recent weeks at Bournemouth, which has lost more games than it has won in the last two months. In the last twelve official games, Bournemouth only won two victories and The Cherries logically dropped a few places in the rankings due to the poor results. Last weekend, Bournemouth lost 0-3 to competitor Watford. If Bournemouth also crashes on Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon, the English media will start sawing under Howe's chair legs. The last three games of Bournemouth in the Premier League (Brighton; 2-0 loss, West Ham United; 4-0 loss and Watford; 0-3 loss) show that Bournemouth is currently in the corner where the hits. This is partly due to the many injuries that The Cherries has, but also for the current bad series Howe already had a lot of players in the rag basket and then Bournemouth performed well above expectations. The injury cases may therefore not only be used as an excuse.

After all, this type of competition is very difficult to predict. Both teams are currently out of shape and will certainly not want to lose. At Norwich City, however, they are not satisfied with a draw either. Bournemouth was eliminated by Watford last weekend, but the pressure is on Saturday afternoon at Norwich City. I do not rule out that the visiting team can make use of it and therefore go for the Bournemouth +0.25.
