MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

---

The Montreal Impact were back to their losing ways with a 2-0 loss in Dallas just a week after snapping a four-game losing skid. The Impact were hit twice early as they conceded goals in the eighth and 18th minutes against FC Dallas. Montreal now has four wins and 11 defeats on the season for 12 points and are in tenth spot in the Eastern Conference. They have just five wins in their past 21 MLS outings though along with 16 defeats. Montreal enters the game with three wins and three defeats at home this season.

Orlando City has now lost five MLS games in a row following a six-game winning streak as they were drilled 5-2 in Vancouver last weekend for their second straight three-goal defeat. The Vancouver Whitecaps opened the scoring in the 36th minute and Orlando was down to ten men after 58 minutes when Mohamed El-Munir was sent off for his second yellow card. They did equalize only six minutes later, but the Whitecaps went ahead again in the 76th minute and then added three more in the last five minutes of the match. Dom Dwyer then added another goal for Orlando just before the final whistle.  Orlando now has six wins, a draw and seven losses for 19 points and are in sixth place in the East. They have seven victories in their last 20 MLS games along with ten losses and three draws, with two wins and four defeats away from home this season.

With Orlando having lost five in a row this is a great chance for Montreal to pick up three points and I'm expecting them to do so here.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO – HIGH

The Montreal Impact and Orlando City have met just eight times in the past, but each contest has featured an average of 3.4 total goals, so I'm expecting a relatively high-scoring encounter.

HEAD TO HEAD

The Montreal Impact beat Orlando City 2-1 at home last season and the sides also drew 3-3 in Orlando. They have met just eight times with each team winning three, losing three and drawing twice.
