Molde have only two absentees for the visit of Stromsgodset: Martin Ellingsen misses the match through injury and Thomas Amang is a doubt. Mathias Normann is suspended.
Stian Ringstad is an injury doubt for Stromsgodset ahead of the trip to the Aker Stadium. Aside from him they have a fully fit squad.

MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

Molde’s poor form continued on Sunday as they lost 2-1 at home to Bodo/Glimt. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team haven’t won in four league matches now (two draws, two defeats) and that, coupled with a cup exit at the hands of lowly Brattvaag, makes for bad reading. However, remarkably they are still as high as sixth place in the table and only four points off second-placed Rosenborg. They appear to be struggling in front of goal, with only three goals in their last four games, and that is even more evident by the fact that the club’s highest scoring striker is 17-year-old Erling Braut Haland with two goals.
Stromsgodset will have been disappointed with their 2-1 home defeat to Sarpsborg at the weekend. After that result, the Drammen club are languishing in 12th place, a long way off the fourth-place finish they achieved last season. However, panic won’t be setting in just yet. If they can restore more positive home results then they could well make a play for the European placings, while top scorer Marcus Pedersen’s form has been impressive. The 27-year-old Norwegian has eight goals in 2018 and is also the top marksman in the league.
Molde have been dominant in this head-to-head of late, with two wins and two draws over the course of the last two seasons. I’m going for a home win here.

SECOND PREDICTION: TOTAL GOALS – THREE

There have been 15 goals scored in Molde’s five home games in 2018 and I will predict a continuation of this average, with three total goals scored in this fixture.

HEAD TO HEAD
Both meetings between these teams ended in draws last season.
