MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: DRAW

Millwall have not won a league game since a 3-2 away victory at Ipswich back on New Year’s Day, losing two and drawing two of their last four games in the English second division. After draws against Middlesbrough (1-1) and Rotherham (0-0), the Lions lost 1-0 at Swansea in their last league outing. Neil Harris’ team are 20th in the table, four points ahead of the bottom three.

Steve Bruce has made a solid start in the Hillsborough dugout, taking four points from his first two league games in charge of Sheff Wednesday. Before drawing 0-0 with Reading at home at the weekend, Wednesday had seen off Ipswich 1-0 at Portman Road in Bruce’s first league match in charge. The Owls have lost only one of their previous eight in the league (four wins, three draws).

Millwall have been strong at home in recent weeks, winning two, drawing two and losing only one of their last five league matches at The Den. However, they only managed a goalless draw with Rotherham in their last home league match. I can see this one ending all square, too.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO – LOW

Millwall have scored 20 league goals at home this term while Sheff Wednesday have notched only 16 away from home. Back this to be a low-scoring affair.

HEAD TO HEAD

The last three league encounters between Millwall and Sheff Wednesday have ended 2-1, with the Owls winning two and losing one of those.
