Millwall’s Shane Ferguson will serve the final match of his three-game ban. Murray Wallace and Tom Bradshaw remain out for the rest of the season. Ben Thompson returned at the weekend following a knock against Leeds.

QPR interim boss John Eustace could still be without Grant Hall, who suffered a groin injury against Bolton ten days ago. Having recovered from an illness, Geoff Cameron was back in action at the weekend, but Massimo Luongo is doubtful.

Millwall registered their first home league win in 2019 at the weekend as they beat promotion-seeking West Bromwich 2-0 in front of their own fans. It was a welcome result for the Lions even though Rotherham’s league victory over Nottingham Forest in the last round means that they are still only one point above the drop zone. They have now won two of their last three league outings, with their only defeat during that time arriving away at top three side Leeds.

John Eustace’s appointment as QPR’s interim boss following Steve McClaren’s sacking last week did not provide a catalyst for an upturn in form as the R’s fell to a devastating 4-0 thrashing at the hands of leaders Norwich in the league at the weekend. Only one win, four draws and 11 defeats since their 3-0 Christmas victory over Ipswich in league action paints a dark picture of Rangers’ ability to finish in the top half, with the side currently 18th with only 44 points from 40 league matches.

QPR are two places and four points above Millwall in the league standings, but their recent form suggests that the visitors will find it difficult to snap up the three points here. The Lions have won two of their last three league fixtures 2-0 and were close to earning a draw against Leeds. I think they could record another much-needed victory here.

Millwall have won four of their last six league victories by one goal while three of QPR’s last four league losses have ended with an odd scoreline. I’ll back odd total goals.

The teams have even records over the last five league meetings, with one home win each and three draws.
