Los Angeles FC have listed Adrien Perez and Alejandro Guido as questionable and Danilo Aparecido Silva as injured. Also, Javi Perez is out for the season.

Atlanta Utd expect to be without Florentin Pogba, George Bello, Kevin Kratz and Hector Villalba with injuries. Brek Shea is out for the season and Michael Ambrose is questionable.

Los Angeles FC may still be leading the league but they were humbled 3-2 in the El Trafico derby by the home side LA Galaxy in the league last weekend. It was just their third league loss of the season and it snapped a three-match winning streak but they remain comfortably atop the Western Conference and in a playoff spot. Los Angeles FC took an early lead in the fourth minute through a Carlos Vela penalty kick as he became the fastest player in history to reach 20 league goals in a season. He also scored in the 97th minute but Zlatan Ibrahimovic stole the show between Vela's markers with a hat-trick.

Atlanta Utd and goalkeeper Brad Guzan haven't allowed a goal in the past two league fixtures after smashing the Houston Dynamo 5-0 at home in league action in midweek and then downing visiting DC United 2-0 on the weekend. They left it late against DC United with man of the match Gonzalo Martinez scoring in the 89th minute and then assisting on Josef Martinez's 16th goal of the league campaign three minutes later. Martinez missed a penalty kick earlier in the second half and it looked like the game would end in a draw. Atlanta now has two straight league wins after a three-game winless skid of two losses and a draw in league action. They have climbed to 36 points on the season and leapfrogged DC United with the win to take over second place in the East.

Los Angeles FC won't be in a good mood after losing the El Trafico derby to the LA Galaxy last weekend and they will be out for three points at home against Atlanta Utd. I believe they will do it against a relatively weak away side.

Los Angeles FC is the highest-scoring team in the league with 55 goals in 21 games and they will definitely be out to avenge last year's embarrassing 5-0 league defeat in Atlanta. I believe this will be an all-out attack by LAFC and the result will be more than three total goals.

The teams have met just once before in league action with Atlanta Utd hammering Los Angeles FC 5-0 at home last year.
