Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups & H2H Stats

Jubilo will have Ryo Shinzato suspended after his 96th minute yellow card last weekend., while they still expect to miss Kengo Kawamata to injury and Koki Ogawa and Takuma Minamino to the Japan Under-22 squad.

For Gamba Keito Nakamura is back from Japan Under-20 duty but Takahiro Ko is still with the Under-22 team. Hiroki Fujiharu and Kosei Tani continue to be absent through injury while Kosuke Onose has been added to that list.

Suspended: Ryo Shinzato (yellow card accumulation – one game)

Doubtful: None

Injured/Unavailable: Kengo Kawamata (dislocated shoulder), Koki Ogawa (Japan Under-22), Takuma Ominami (Japan Under-22).

Jubilo were fortunate to earn a point with a 93rd minute PK being saved but followed up by Rodrigues to give them a 1-1 draw to Vissel Kobe in J1 before the international break. They have managed to stay off the bottom of J1 with two wins against fellow strugglers recently – beating Reds in their current losing run and Vegalta Sendai. They may feel that Gamba are also ready for a beating, since they are level at the bottom on 13 points. Their Under-22 absentees – Ominami and Ogawa – are a good part of the team and Jubilo have been hit harder than most by the Under-22 selections, I feel. They will struggle to hold off their visitors today.

Gamba were unfortunate to earn only a 1-1 draw in J1 in their game before the international break against Kashima Antlers, with Ryotaro Meshino's goal giving them the lead before they were pegged back. They are three league games unbeaten and playing well, as a team. They are better than their results say and those results include creditable draws with high-flying teams Consadole Sapporo and Antlers, as well as the Osaka Derby win and I feel only good things about Gamba as the youngsters that have been given their chance to change the team's fortunes do what they were asked to do.

This is a game that will take one team away from the bottom and leave one stuck in trouble. Gamba have the vitality of the younger players and the experience of championships in the team. They will have what it takes to win this one and continue to move up the table in the coming weeks, too.

Gamba's problems had been more at the back – although, obviously they were not scoring enough goals either – the last three league games have seen two clean sheets and a 1-1 draw for Gamba as they tighten it up. I feel that a single goal will be enough to win this.

In J1 matches between these two teams last season Gamba won at home and drew away.
