Iwata: Poor season (Recent Form: LLLDDL)

Iwata had a really bad last season, when they ended up as the third bottom side in the J-League and had to pass the play out matches to be able to keep their place among the best sides in the country, but unfortunately for them this year the situation has not changed much and just like the expectations, they are again among the bottom sides and by the looks of it the battle against the relegation will again be huge for them. So far in the campaign the team managed to win just three times in their opening sixteen league games, having lost half of these matches and with just foruteen points collected so far (3-5-8), they are among the bottom two in the table and in the relegation zone right now. But whas is even more worrying for the club is that their performance looks to be getting worse and worse with the season progressing, as right now Iwata is on the terrible run of having no victory in their last seven games in a row in all competitions (0-2-5), losing the last three in a row, as well as in all these seven matches having scored just three times.

Kawasaki: Great away performance (Recent Form: DDWWDW)

The defending Champions Kawasaki is not doing that great this season in the league, compared to the way they performed last season and were miles ahead of the rest of the field. So far in the campaign the team lost just one single time, but in the same time had drew a whole seven of their opening fifteen league games and with twenty eight points collected so far (7-7-1) are currently five behind the first position, but also with a game in hand. What is more interesting is that Kawasaki is actually feeling and playing much better away from home since the start of the campaign, winning just twice at their arena (2-6-1), while away from home being able to collect sixteen of the possible eighteen points in the six visits played in the J-League (5-1-0).

The Betting Verdict:

The Champions were already eliminated from the Champions League and will fully concentrate on defending their title, as especially given their away form this season, I think that they will not have much problems tomorrow.
