Goteborg midfielder Patrik Karlsson Lagemyr went off injured against Ostersunds last weekend. He has problems with his knee and could be out for a while.

Striker Omar Eddahri is still injured for Sundsvall.

Goteborg started the season brightly and are currently fifth in the table after 13 league games. However, their form has dipped recently and they have only one win in their last five league games (three draws, one loss) while they have failed to score in their last three home league games. Patrik Karlsson Lagemyr, Andre Calisir and captain Sebastian Ohlsson are all expected to be out as well for this league game. The side are coming off a 0-0 away league draw against mid-table side Ostersunds.

Sundsvall are still searching for their first league win since April, having drawn three and lost five of their last eight league games. Last weekend they drew 0-0 in the league at home to AFC Eskilstuna - a result that sees them in the relegation playoff spot after 13 league games. Their away form has been particularly awful so far this season with five losses and three draws in league action. They will be without their striker Omar Eddahri here and recently sold top scorer Linus Hallenius, who had been responsible for six of their 15 league goals.

Two teams in poor form meet this weekend. The home side have a stronger squad and did look quite good at the beginning of the new campaign. They will without a doubt eye this league game as the perfect way to kickstart their season again. Sundsvall look in poor shape and with them playing badly away from home all season they will find it tough to get a result. A home win is the most likely outcome.

There have been under 2.5 total goals scored in the last three home league games for Goteborg. Five of Sundsvall’s last six away league games have seen under 2.5 total goals scored, too. Expect another low-scoring affair.

Sundsvall have registered three straight league wins against Goteborg. However, Goteborg were undefeated in the 11 preceding league encounters (eight wins, three draws).
