Halifax: Great start (Recent Form: WLLWWW)

Halifax is having a great start of the new season in the National League, as after finishing in the bottom half of the table last year, it looks like for this campaign they will have much higher ambitions and will be aiming at much better positions, at least from what we are seeing from the club in the opening quarter of the season. So far in the campaign the team managed to win a whole five times in their opening twelve league games and with twenty five points collected in these matches (8-1-3), they are currently on second place in the table, as the positions in the bottom half of the ranks from last year are long time forgotten now. Without a doubt their biggest weapon in the season so far has been their attack, with Halifax being the club who has scored the most amount of goals in the National League so far with twenty three goals. Also, in front of their fans they are doing more than great so far, being able to win a whole five of their opening six league matches, collecting fifteen points in these games (5-0-1) and also scoring thirteen goals in these matches.

Harrogate: Bad start (Recent Form: DDLWLD)

Harrogate in the same time is on the totally opposite side of the spectrum, as after having a great last season and making the playoffs, this year did not start good at all for the club, given in mind that they were able to win just three times in their opening twelve league games and with thirteen points collected in these matches (3-4-5), they are currently in the bottom half of the ranks, pretty close to the danger zone. Also, away from home they had not only managed to win just once so far, but also were able to collect just two points from their last five away league games (0-2-3), being unable to score in three of these games.

The Betting Verdict:

Halifax, like I said, is having a great start of the new season and I cannot see a reason why this great run could not continue tomorrow as well against the struggling Harrogate side.
