TEAM NEWS
With right back Gilberto almost fully recovered from some pain on his knee and with good chances of playing this match, Fluminense won’t have midfielder Allan, who is suspended after getting red carded.
Ceara have two players doubtful as well, as midfielders Pedro Ken and Wescley need to get fit again before recovering from their injuries, but defensive midfielder Auremir had to go through a nose surgery and it’s very unlikely that he’ll be ready to play this weekend.
Fluminense

Doubtful: Gilberto (knee)

Ceara

MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN
The most recent league matches before the Brasileiro stopped for the Copa America were terrible for Fluminense and even though they come from two draws in the league, they started this round placed only one position above the relegation zone with the same number of points as the two clubs right below them.
With 13 goals scored in nine matches, it’s clear that scoring hasn’t been their problem in the league, as those are the best offensive numbers in the bottom half of the table. But Fluminense conceded 16 times so far.
Luckily for them, Ceara have been poor when playing far from home. Their only away win was against Avai, who are the worst team in the league but even in that match Ceara conceded and now that they will face a team that showed some offensive quality in the first rounds they will struggle even though Fluminense’s attack has been far from their best recently. With that, I think Fluminense will win the game.
SECOND PREDICTION: HILO - LOW
While Fluminense scored only once in their last three matches, Ceara failed to score in this same period, conceding only twice in these three league games, and given their recent offensive numbers this match will not have too many goals.
HEAD TO HEAD
These two clashed only six times in the league and Ceara didn’t beat Fluminense in any of the games they played as visitors.
