Finland: On a serious uphill (Recent Form: WWWLLW)

Finland is on a serious uphill in the last two years, as it all started in the final rounds of the qualification period for the World Cup, where the club got some really positive results and ever since then, Finland has been playing really good football and proving that their performance has imprved big time and that they have a really good chance of succeeding in this qualifications. Despite finishing second bottom in the World Championship Qualifications, like i said, Finland ended the group in a really good fashion, not losing any of their last four games (2-2-0), as in this period they drew with Turkey and Croatia and even beat the winners of the group Iceland. Then the great performance continued in the Nations League as well, where in their group the team managed to finish on first place with twelve points (4-0-2), ending ahead of Hungary and exactly their opponent tomorrow Greece. That was Finland at the minimum secured a place in the playoffs in March so they surely have a shot at qualifying for the European Championship. But with the performance in the Euro 2020 qualification it looks like they might end up in one of the top two places and qualify even before that. Finland managed to win three of their opening four games in the group, collecting nine points (3-0-1) and conceding just two goals in these matches, as both goals came in the 0:2 defeat from the leaders Italy.

Greece: In bad period (Recent Form: LLLDWL)

Greece in the same time is on the different polus in the recent couple of years, with the club first finishing just one third place in the Nations League behind Finland and Hungary and now making a quite bad start of the European qualifications, collecting four points from their opening four games (1-1-2), losing the last two games in a row at home against Italy and Armenia.

The Betting Verdict:

Finland is the side in the uphill in the last couple of years and I think that tomorrow they can produce another good performance and continue their excellent qualifications.
