Falkenbergs striker Cyril Pogrebnyak is a doubt as he has been ill during the week.

Defender Marcus Danielsson is back in training for Djurgardens, but it is unclear if he is ready to play after his concussion.

Falkenbergs are very much looking like a team that will be relegated this season. They have not won in league action since the opening day and their only points since have been from goalless draws against the two teams (AFC Eskilstuna and Sirius) directly above them at the bottom of the table. They play without confidence and the squad that was exceeding expectations last season in the second division looks like they have hit a glass roof. They have also only scored two goals at home in four league games. With striker Cyril Pogrebnyak also set to miss this league game they are even more lacking power up front.

Djurgardens go into this league match having lost 2-0 against AIK Solna in a derby. A result that means that they have 12 points after eight games in the league. Falkenbergs should be an easy victory as Djurgardens have a strong squad to choose from and they have impressed with their football so far this season. Astrit Ajdarevic is back from injury and Nicklas Barkroth could also be included in the match squad.

Falkenbergs are not good enough to get something from this league game. Djurgardens have more experience and the ability to see off lesser opponents with their speed and high pressing game. I’m going with an away win.

Falkenbergs is one of the teams have conceded most goals in the league. They average almost two goals conceded per league game. Djurgardens have scored six goals in four away league games and are likely to push forward here. I think we will see plenty of goals.

There have been five straight league wins for Djurgardens but they have not played against Falkenbergs in league action since autumn 2016.
