Ryukyu saw goalkeeper Carvajal carried off last week and he has a badly-sprained ankle, he has nothing broken and will miss around four weeks.

Zweigen will have Norimichi Yamamoto suspended for this game after he received a red card (second yellow) in additional time last weekend. No change on Allan's long-term injury absence, while Ren Komatsu is with the Japan Under-22 squad.

Suspended: None

Doubtful: None

Injured/Unavailable: Carvajal (ankle)

Suspended: Norimichi Yamamoto (one game)

Doubtful: None

Injured/Unavailable: Allan (knee surgery), Ren Komatsu (Japan Under-22).

Ryukyu took the lead in the 67th minute, through Koji Suzuki, away at FC Yokohama last weekend in J2 before being beaten 2-1. Since opening the season with four wins they have won just two more games in 12 league games. They keep an unbeaten home run that stretches back to 29 matches in the league now. This alone give me the confidence to say Ryukyu won't lose. Their last two home games have seen wins including a victory over Mito HollyHock, so they can take anyone on a good day.

Zweigen held Tokushima Vortis to a 0-0 home draw last weekend in J2 but they now have just two wins in their last eight games – both against teams currently in the bottom three of J2. In fact they have just seven goals in their last eight league matches after scoring 12 in five games before this barren run. The one hope they might have is that they have three away wins in 2019, but all of those have been against the current bottom three and they struggle against better teams.

The current home form of Ryukyu, added to the current overall form of Zweigen point me to a home win! Just!

Ryukyu will be looking to keep their home unbeaten record going while Zweigen have not scored for three matches – a single goal win will be enough for Ryukyu to take the points.

These two teams have never met in J2 league play.
