USA Major League Soccer(MLS) -- Columbus Crew  VS  Los Angeles FC

Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups & H2H Stats

The Columbus Crew will be missing Milton Valenzuela for the season while Harrison Afful is also sidelined.

Los Angeles FC expect to be without Danilo Silva, Javi Perez and Alejandro Guido while Rodolfo Zelaya is questionable.

Columbus Crew

Injured/unavailable: Milton Valenzuela (knee), Harrison Afful (jaw)

Los Angeles FC

Suspended: None

Doubtful: Rodolfo Zelaya (soleus)

Injured/unavailable: Danilo Silva (hamstring), Javi Perez (groin), Alejandro Guido (quadriceps)

The Columbus Crew were beaten 3-1 away by DC United in the league last weekend and then returned home to host the LA Galaxy in league action four nights later. Their encounter with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the Galaxy ended in a 3-1 win and they entered the league match on a five-game league losing streak in which they had been outscored 10-2 and had been shut out three times. The Crew now has 16 points this year in the league from five wins, one draw and six defeats. Their home record is quite average at four wins, one draw and two losses with nine goals scored and six allowed.

Los Angeles FC failed to score for the second time in their last four league games as they were held to a 0-0 home draw by the Chicago Fire last weekend with Tyler Miller earning the clean sheet in goal. The team had 64 % of ball possession but couldn't find the back of the net. The draw also meant they dropped points at home for the first time in the league this year after five straight wins. However, the draw still keeps them in first place in the league and the West with 24 points while outscoring the opposition 26-8. Los Angeles FC has two wins, two draws and a loss on the road in the league with 12 goals scored and four against.

Los Angeles FC enters this as the best team in the league and should be able to beat a struggling Columbus Crew side even if they are on the road.

The Columbus Crew has trailed at half time in five of 12 league games while Los Angeles FC has been behind just twice in their 11 league contests. I'm backing the visitors to be in front at half time.

Los Angeles FC won 2-0 at home last year in the only league meeting between the sides.
