Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups & H2H Stats

The Colorado Rapids list defender Kortne Ford and Axel Sjoberg as being injured. Yannick Boli is suspended.

The Chicago Fire is expecting to be without Djordje Mihailovic, Michael de Leeuw and Matt Polster while Jon Bakero and Stefan Cleveland are also expected to miss the match. Goalkeeper Patrick McLain and Dax McCarty are questionable.

Colorado Rapids

Suspended: Yannick Boli

Doubtful: None

Injured/unavailable: Kortne Ford (knee), Axel Sjoberg (concussion)

Chicago Fire

Suspended: None

Doubtful: Patrick McLain (thigh), Elliot Collier (undisclosed)

Injured/unavailable: Djordje Mihailovic, Matt Polster, Michael de Leeuw (all knee); Jon Bakero (ankle)

The Colorado Rapids were beaten 2-0 in Houston last weekend for their eighth straight defeat of the season for the league's longest losing streak since 2014. Houston scored in the 30th minute and then added a penalty kick goal just six minutes later to take care of the scoring. Any hopes of a Colorado comeback were doused when Yannick Boli was sent off with a straight red card just before the half time whistle. The Rapids have two wins, nine defeats and two draws on the season for eight points and are still in 12th and last place in the West. They also have four wins, 12 defeats and three draws in their past 19 MLS contests with two wins, a draw and four losses at home this season.

The Chicago Fire are unbeaten in the past two games with a draw and a win following their 1-1 home tie with the New England Revolution last weekend. Bastian Schweinsteiger gave the Fire the lead after 63 minutes, but New England leveled the encounter in the 82nd. Chicago has five wins, three draws and seven defeats in 2018 and their 18 points places them seventh in the East. They also have eight wins, four draws and ten losses in their last 22 MLS outings, with two wins, a draw and three defeats on the road this season.

The Rapids have lost eight in a row while Chicago is a decent away side. I expect the teams to share the points here. To be on the safe side, I will go with Chicago Fire on the +1 market.

The Chicago Fire have been level five times after 45 minutes this season while the Colorado Rapids have been level four times and I'm expecting this match to be drawn at half time.

The Chicago Fire beat the Colorado Rapids 3-0 at home in last season's outing. Each side has two wins, two losses and a draw in the last five matches.
