Bulgaria: Yearns for a victory ( Recent Form: D D D D L )

In the past World Cup qualifying series, Bulgaria managed to offer good resistance and beat Sweden and the Dutch national team in-house. The Bulgarians also performed well in the following Nations League: in a group with Norway, Slovenia and Cyprus, the Bulgarians finished second with eleven points. Due to draws against the last two countries, the team, trained by former midfielder Krasimir Balakov, had to leave the group victory to the Norwegians. In the European Championship qualification, the Bulgarians did not win any of the three games under his leadership. The match against Montenegro and the earlier meeting in Kosovo ended in a 1-1 draw and last Friday the Czech Republic in Prague was 2-1 too strong. Bulgaria had already taken the lead after three minutes via Ismail Isa, but via a double hit by Roma striker Patrick Schick, the points remained in the Czech Republic. As a result, the Bulgarians have only managed to collect two points after three games and with a double encounter with England ahead, it can be concluded that the chances of a European Championship ticket are already very small.

Kosovo: Thirteen unbeaten games ( Recent Form: W W D D D )

Kosovo has been officially accepted as a FIFA member since 2016 and can therefore participate in the qualification series for final tournaments. The first qualifying campaign, which took place in Russia for the World Cup last summer, was disastrous for the Kosovars. In a pool with Iceland, Croatia, Turkey, Ukraine and Finland, the Balkan state only took one point. The last defeat in that campaign in November 2017 against Iceland also meant the last defeat. A month later, in a friendly international match against Latvia, Kosovo won the first victory in its history and, moreover, no more was lost since that day. Logically, Kosovo was classified in Division D of the Nations League, but the team of coach Bernard Challandes showed that it was a class better than Azerbaijan, Malta and the Faroe Islands. With fourteen points from six games, the group win and participation in the play-offs at the end of the qualification was a fact. So the Kosovars still have two assets to participate in a final tournament for the first time in history next summer. Kosovo started the current group with draws against Bulgaria and Kosovo, so through the regular series, Kosovo is still in the race.

After all, in recent 4 matches Bulgaria only scored 1 goal / 1 game. Both teams are not appreciated in the attack.
