English Premier League -- Brighton Hove Albion VS Aston Villa

Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups& H2H Stats

-----------------------------------

Brighton & Hove Albion: No wins in 2020 ( Recent Form: L W D L L )

Brighton & Hove Albion is in 14th place in the Premier League with 24 points after 22 games. The Seagulls have fourteen points less than they had last season after 38 games, so Graham Potter is on the right track with Brighton. Yet Brighton is by no means certain of retention and it is also expected that The Seagulls will be associated with relegation until the end of the season. With this material, however, the Brighton must succeed in maintaining itself, because when it comes to football, it is all nicely put together at The Seagulls. For the last game of Brighton we have to go back one week in time. Last weekend, The Seagulls in the Premier League lost 1-0 to Everton. Losing Everton at Goodison Park is not a disaster for Brighton, but The Seagulls are already waiting three games for a win. In other words: Brighton has not won a duel in 2020. There are logically chances for Brighton against Aston Villa, which lost 2-1 to Villa Park in October. Brighton played an hour with ten men after a red card in the first half of Aaron Mooy and as if that wasn't enough, The Seagulls had to take the 2-1 in extra time. Potter's team will get a second chance against Aston Villa this weekend.

Aston Villa: The big defeat againt Man City ( Recent Form: L W L D L )

For Aston Villa, kicking off is not fast enough Saturday afternoon. The Villans went down in their home last Sunday with 1-6 against Manchester City and were repeatedly reminded of that defeat this week. Villa played a bad game and made no effort to really make it difficult for the Manchester City players. It's not for nothing that Man City was already leading 0-4 at Villa Park. It was a competition to be quickly forgotten for Dean Smith's Aston Villa. Pepe Reina could be found in the stands of Villa Park during the duel with Manchester City. The 37-year-old Spaniard will be rented from AC Milan in the coming months and that has everything to do with the injury of Villa goalkeeper Tom Heaton. Reina barely came into action at AC Milan in the past two seasons and it would not surprise me if the Spaniard had to act as a reserve goalkeeper in the coming months. Ørjan Nyland had to take six against Manchester City, but in the duels it wasn't even that bad at Aston Villa. Nevertheless, it is expected in the English media that Reina immediately gets a chance at Brighton against Aston Villa.

THE BETTING VERDICT:

After all, the bookmakers see Brighton & Hove Albion as a big favorite for this game. The Seagulls naturally play at home and are also a lot further than Aston Villa. With Brighton-out and Watford-home (coming Tuesday), however, Villa does play two important games in a few days. I understand that Brighton is the favorite for this game, but I don't think The Seagulls will be able to completely eliminate Aston Villa. I will bet for the Aston Villa +1.
