Henrik Dalsgaard and John Egan are in a race to be fit for Dean Smith’s Brentford.
Bolton’s Jem Karacan could miss out through personal reasons while Darren Pratley and Karl Henry will play no part at Griffin Park this weekend. Wanderers are fighting to keep hold of Gary Madine after rejecting a bid from Cardiff.

Brentford have been in decent shape of late, although they have lost their last two in all competitions. After winning three in a row, the Bees were beaten 3-0 at Wolves in the Championship before being dumped out of the FA Cup at home by Notts County last weekend. Nevertheless, Brentford look like one of the sides who are capable of making a dash towards the playoff spots in the second half of the campaign.
Bolton have slowly but surely found their feet in the Championship, winning three of their last four, including victories over Cardiff and Sheff Utd. They also beat Hull City 1-0 at home in their last league outing. As a result of their improved form, Wanderers have moved out of the drop zone and up to 20th. Phil Parkinson’s men, who have three home games in four after travelling to Griffin Park, will be hoping to keep up their fine momentum. However, they were beaten 2-1 by Huddersfield in the FA Cup last weekend.
Brentford are hard to beat at home having lost just once at Griffin Park in the Championship all season, this makes me believe that the hosts could grab a narrow win here.
Brentford have been involved in six high scoring games (3 goals or above) in their last eight matches. There should be plenty of goals here.
Brentford are unbeaten in their last four against Bolton, winning two and drawing two.
Prediction: Brentford to win
