Birmingham Pep Clotet could look to make one change this weekend with Jeremie Bela starting out wide.

MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN

16-year-old Jude Bellingham was the star on Tuesday night as Scott Hogan’s late goal sent Birmingham home from Yorkshire with all three points. The win against Barnsley means that Pep Clotet’s side have now won three consecutive league games and have picked up 14 points from their last six league outings.

Brentford were absolutely gifted the lead against Leeds on Tuesday night, but the London side couldn’t hold on for a monumental three points and were ultimately made to share the spoils. The result means that Thomas Frank’s men will head into the weekend in fourth place after losing just one of their last seven league games.

Brentford should face a much more comfortable task here and should secure the three points.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO – LOW

Eight of Brentford’s last 13 games across the league and the FA Cup have produced fewer than three total goals and I expect that to be the case on the weekend as well. Birmingham’s game against Barnsley Tuesday night produced just a single goal while Brentford’s goal against Leeds was a gift from Kiko Casilla.

HEAD TO HEAD

Birmingham are unbeaten in their last three league games against Brentford.
