AFC Eskilstuna goalkeeper Ole Soderberg is suspended after being sent off last weekend.

Falkenbergs players Dominic Chatto and Mahmut Ozen remain sidelined while Marcus Mathisen is suspended.

AFC Eskilstuna

Suspended: Ole Soderberg

Doubtful: Igor Levchenko (illness)

Injured/unavailable: Felix Michel (ligament)

Suspended: Marcus Mathisen

Doubtful: Passi Prudence (illness)

Injured/unavailable: Dominic Chatto, Mahmut Ozen (both knee); Edi Sylisufaj (back)

AFC Eskilstuna and Falkenbergs both won on the opening day of the season but have only taken one point each in league action since then. They are currently both in the bottom two of the table.

AFC Eskilstuna lost 2-1 away to reigning champions AIK Solna in the league last weekend, but their performance perhaps merited a point. They fought hard and despite being 2-0 down they scored a goal and had chances to make it 2-2 at the end of the league game. At home they have actually been rather decent with one win, a draw and a narrow 1-0 loss in their three league matches so far.

Falkenbergs have an equally poor sequence of league outings with five losses and a draw in their last six league games. They have Marcus Mathisen suspended while Dominic Chatto and Mahmut Ozen are still out with injuries, with the latter two yet to feature this season. The visitors have failed to take a point in their three away league games and they know they need to get something out of this league fixture if they are to stay up.

Two teams short on confidence and points meet in Eskilstuna. A win is a must for both if they are to have any chance of staying up. With AFC Eskilstuna’s home form being decent they are slight favourites.

AFC Eskilstuna have scored only three goals in their last five league games and Falkenbergs have scored twice in their last three league matches. Both sides have problems scoring goals and I doubt we will see many total goals here.

The teams won one league meeting each last season in the second division.
