Striker Denni Avdic is fit again for AFC Eskilstuna.

Djurgardens defender Erik Berg is a doubt after having problems with his knee.

AFC Eskilstuna are bottom of the table after drawing 0-0 away to Sundsvall in their most recent league match last weekend. They have not won a league game since the opening day, drawing four and losing 12, and they have failed to find the net in five of their last six league matches. The team have now also lost Jose Leon who has returned to Spanish side Rayo Vallecano after being recalled from his loan.

Djurgardens won 2-0 at home to Kalmar in the league last weekend after goals from defender Marcus Danielsson and striker Mohamed Buya Turay. The team look determined to be in the title race this season and they are only four points behind Malmo at this stage but have played only 13 league games compared to Malmo’s 14. Erik Berg and Johan Josef Andersson could both be absent this weekend, but Djurgardens’ away record in the league is impressive with four wins, a draw and a loss in six games away from home.

AFC Eskilstuna are simply not good enough for the top flight and many of their players are severely out of their depth. Djurgardens are pushing for the title and I expect them to clinch all three points in this league game without any problems.

AFC Eskilstuna are the lowest scoring team in the league with only nine goals and they have scored in only one of their last six league games. Only Malmo have scored more goals than Djurgardens. I think the visitors will break the deadlock here.

Djurgardens won both home and away in the league in 2017 when AFC Eskilstuna were last in the top flight.
