Alavés: 311 minutes without scoring ( Recent Form: W D L L L )

For the time being, Alavés has failed to follow up on the excellent performance of the first half of the season in the new year. Only one match won the blue-white formation in 2019 and in addition, 311 minutes have passed without scoring. The program was therefore not easy for the Basques, as in the last five games three teams were hit from the current top eight. In home games El Glorioso incidentally has little trouble getting points, only one game in the Mendizorroza was lost this season. Jony Rodríguez expressed his dissatisfaction this week about the times when his club has to play the matches. He thinks it unfair that so often on Friday and Monday should be played, because it is often not feasible for fans with a family and work to be present at the match at those times. The midfielder is rented this season and Alavés would like to take him over permanently, but Málaga seems to want to put a stop to it.

Levante: Toño García in the box ( Recent Form: L L W L D )

The selection of Levante is in shock. Fixed left back Toño García has received seven charges for crimes from his pants, of which extortion would be the most serious. The 29-year-old defender was detained on Friday and it is still unclear whether he will be released anyway. He may be subject to a prison sentence up to five years. The club is currently behind Toño and assumes that the player is innocent. The 29-year-old left back would not appear in the duel with Alavés anyway, he still suffers from groin problems. Furthermore, the club from Valencia also does not have the wind in sports. Of the last twelve games played, only two were won and the team now mainly races on the excellent October month. Las Granotas currently occupy twelfth place in the ranking, but that sounds safer than it is. The difference with the eighteenth position is only four points, so a defeat can have major consequences for the feeling within the club. Especially with the problems of Toño in mind, there seems to be a difficult period for Paco López and his men.

After all, two teams are moving at a similar level. Thanks to the very strong home record of Alaves (5-4-1), the role of favorites is justified, but the real value does not have odds of 2.08. In the home games of the Basques have not yet scored many goals. For example, four goals in an Alaves home game did not exist before, and three goals were the exception rather than the rule. After eight goals in the last three games, the Abelardo team will focus on the defensive. Levante seldom comes into play without many spaces in the game forward.
