Norwegian Tippeligaen -- Valerenga  VS  Lillestrom

Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups & H2H Stats

Valerenga are without Peter Godly Michael and Sam Adekugbe ahead of this league match.

Lillestrom’s Simen Kind Mikalsen is a doubt because of injury, while Erik Sandberg and Frode Kippe definitely miss this league match with a more serious knee problem.

Valerenga’s last league match was a 2-0 home win over Stromsgodset. Aron Donnum and Herolind Shala scored the goals in that contest and the visitors only managed two shots on target compared to the nine the hosts created. The Oslo club have won all four of their first four home matches in the league this season, although overall, they have five wins, two draws and two losses in league action.

Lillestrom lost 3-0 at home to Odd BK in their last league match. They are now without a win in their last four league games, drawing two and losing two. The side have also taken only two points from their four away league games this season - a worrying statistic as they make the short trip to the Intility Arena. Their away troubles have seemingly transferred over from last season when they only managed two league victories on the road all season, along with three draws and ten losses. Thomas Olsen continues to be Lillestrom’s leading man in the attacking department with four strikes in the league.

Valerenga’s home form is too good to see anything else other than a home win. They can win this league game.

Valerenga have scored first in their last two league meetings against Lillestrom and I expect them to do so again this weekend.

Lillestrom haven’t won against Valerenga in Oslo in their previous five league visits, drawing two and losing three. Valerenga won both home and away league fixtures 1-0 last season.
