English Premier League -- Sheffield United VS Leicester City

Sheffield United: Four points is an big asset ( Recent Form: W W L D W )

The Premier League is only two rounds of play and it can already be said that Sheffield United is definitely an asset to the most popular competition in the world. The Blades played their first home game on Bramall Lane last weekend and, supported by thirty thousand blood fanatics, Sheffield United won 1-0 against Crystal Palace. The goal was scored by John Lundstram and the 25-year-old Liverpool-born midfielder has now scored on all professional levels in England. Three years ago Lundstram played with Oxford United in the League One and nowadays he plays every week in packed Premier League stadiums. Speaking of all professional levels in England: Sheffield United-manager Chris Wilder has won no fewer than 77 league matches with his club since the 2016-2017 season. Only Pep Guardiola is doing slightly better in professional English football with 88 league victories, but it does indicate that Wilder is doing well with Sheffield United. Against Crystal Palace, John Fleck dropped out early at Sheffield United and the Scot is the only question mark at The Blades in the run-up to the game against Leicester City.

Leicester City: No victory yet ( Recent Form: W W W D D )

At Leicester City, the counter is on the same number of points after two games. The Foxes started the season with a scoreless draw in its own King Power Stadium against Wolverhampton and grabbed a point at Chelsea last Sunday: 1-1. Especially in the first half, Leicester City had a hard time playing Chelsea, but after the break The Foxes had enough chances to make up the 1-0 deficit and that Wilfred Ndidi eventually did the same. The team of Brendan Rodgers then even had some opportunities to win in London, but it turned out to be impossible for Rodgers to beat Chelsea. Last weekend, he was the coach for the thirteenth time in a game against Chelsea and none of those games was won by the Rodgers team. So Rodgers did not succeed in winning a competition with Leicester City this season. Against Sheffield United there are of course plenty of opportunities for The Foxes, who have been unbeaten for six consecutive games against the club from the steel city. The problem with Leicester City lies solely in the scoring ability - in the last four league matches, The Foxes scored only one goal. On the other hand, of course, the Leicester City defense is doing pretty well at the start of the season, as The Foxes kept the zero against Wolverhampton and Chelsea scored only one goal at home.

After all, if Sheffield United plays on its own Bramall Lane, it can really be haunted. Sheffield played great matches against Crystal Palace and against Leicester City there are also opportunities for The Blades. Partly in view of the home advantage and the fact that Leicester City scores so difficult lately, I see value in the Sheffield United +0.25.
