Sergino Dest returns for Jong Ajax and Dominik Kotarski is available to play in goal.

Roda are still missing Jannes Vansteenkiste and Richard Jensen. Tom Muyters is a doubt and Daniele Zotti is suspended.

Jong Ajax

Suspended: None

Doubtful: Sebastian Pasquali (unspecified)

Injured/Unavailable: Abdallah Aberkane (unspecified)

Suspended: Daniele Zotti

Doubtful: Gyliano van Velzen, Tom Muyters (both unspecified)

Injured/Unavailable: Richard Jensen (unspecified), Jannes Vansteenkiste (ankle)

Jong Ajax travelled to Dordrecht in round 23. They were 3-1 ahead at half time thanks to goals from Danilo in the sixth and 21st minute, with Nicolas Kuhn contributing the third. However, they were unable to maintain the lead as they conceded goals in the 66th and 79th minute. The 3-3 draw marks their fourth league game without a win (two draws, two losses) while the side have shipped a worrying 12 goals in those league matches.

Roda were upset by mid-table side Almere City last time out, losing 2-1 at home. However, it was just their third loss in 14 league games, having drawn four and won seven along the way. Roda were already 2-0 behind by the 20th minute. League top scorer Mario Engels converted a spot kick in the 35th minute, but with Daniele Zotti sent off in the 56th minute, it was too much to ask from the Limburg side. Sitting in sixth, they are trailing leaders Twente by 12 points.

Only five points separate these two teams in the standings. However, even though Roda are four places above Jong Ajax in the league table, their away league form has not been convincing, with just one win, one draw and two losses in their last four away league outings. Apart from two losses in their last eight home league matches, Jong Ajax have been solid at home, winning five and drawing one of the other six. I think they can edge this fixture.

Jong Ajax have kept a clean sheet in their last three home league wins while Roda have drawn a blank in their last three away league defeats, with the most recent two ending 2-0. I think they will lose by the same scoreline again.

There have been only three league meetings between these sides. Roda remain undefeated with two wins and one draw.
