Ryukyu went down 1-0 to a Fagiano Okayama PK last weekend. They are now just one win in 10 league games but have five draws in there and are not completely sinking. With the confidence at home to keep a 28 league game undefeated streak going surely they have enough to get a draw here, too! In this 10-game streak they have one home win and three draws as they continue to be unbeatable at their home ground. After beating then-top team Mito HollyHock two games back and going down to just a PK last week they will not be too downhearted and can continue their run.

Albirex were 2-0 up at half time at home to Ehime FC on goals from Arata Watanabe and Shun Obu, but eventually went down 3-2. Having given up the win to a team struggling near the bottom, and at home, and after being 2-0 up, Albirex will be lacking confidence and, with Ryukyu's unbeatable home form, will struggle to get the win that they really want. Their run is seven league games with just one win and are now two losses running as they visit Ryukyu.

Two teams struggling to win and struggling for consistency right now spells a draw for me.

Albirex's last two games have both ended with five goals in total and they have scored two goals or more in five of their last seven league games, while only winning one of them. I see goals. 2-2? 3-3?!

These two teams have never met in league play.
