CSKA Moscow midfielders Konstantin Kuchayev and Alan Dzagoev are still out injured, but Jaka Bijol is back from suspension.

Krylya Sovetov Samara’s Srdjan Mijailovic and Jano Ananidze remain out while there are still doubts over Maksim Kanunnikov and Aleksandr Samedov’s match fitness.

CSKA Moscow

Suspended: None

Doubtful: None

Injured/Unavailable: Alan Dzagoev (cruciate ligament), Konstantin Kuchayev (meniscus)

Krylya Sovetov Samara

Suspended: None

Doubtful: Maksim Kannunikov, Aleksandr Samedov (both match fitness)

Injured/Unavailable: Jano Ananidze (knee), Srdjan Mijailovic (cruciate ligament)

CSKA Moscow secured European football with a 1-0 home league win last weekend over Akhmat Grozny. The result was the first home league game in which CSKA Moscow had failed to score at least twice since October. Only Rostov have a better overall defensive record. If CSKA Moscow better Spartak Moscow’s league result this weekend they will skip Europa League qualifying for next season, but otherwise their fate is already sealed.

Krylya Sovetov Samara fell to their fifth defeat in their last six league games, having drawn the other one, by losing 2-1 at home to Spartak Moscow last weekend. They will play in the relegation playoffs next week and will be unlikely to select their first-choice players this week anyway. The team have lost the last five away league games in a row and have kept one clean sheet on the road in league action since August.

Expect CSKA Moscow to stroll to a comfortable win.

CSKA Moscow have now opened the scoring in the last nine consecutive home league matches. No team has scored more first-half league goals at home than them. Krylya Sovetov Samara, meanwhile, have conceded first in their last five away league fixtures in a row. Expect CSKA Moscow to take control of this league game by scoring first.

CSKA Moscow have won two and drawn one of their last three league meetings with Krylya Sovetov Samara.
